08/10/23 - Went to check out this new location that opened up a few months ago. Young staff who is learning but is friendly and offers good service. Great ice cream, the Rocky Mount is an added bonus. I see potential for this to be the crown jewel of the Renaissance Center especially during the summer.

08/01/23 - Owner/manager was very kind. A woman who didn't realize my small child and I were waiting to order accidentally skipped past us and she wanted to purchase my child's ice cream as an apology. The owner/manager said to her that he would take care of the cost because he appreciated that she wanted to do a kind thing and comped the cost.
We sat outside to eat our ice cream and the owner/manager brought out two additional scoops and a story for us. My child had gotten the blue cotton candy but there was a pink cotton candy for "Barbie". The man told us how his daughter thought the Cold Stone pink cotton candy wasn't the right "Barbie" shade of pink so he made a bright pink sweet cream - the 2 scoops he brought out were the pinks and sure enough, the cotton candy was more reddish and the sweet cream a perfect "Barbie" hot pink.
